Today has been a day of extremes. A few hours ago we were trying to chase down an officer at the National Visa Center (it's nearly impossible to talk to a living, breathing human being) in fear that our documents had been misplaced.Indeed they were misplaced! We could not track them down because they were already in Peru sitting at the Embassy desk....Yay!!! We were told that we may be able to travel as early as next week. We are still waiting for the official, final approval before purchasing our tickets though. We are so happy!!! For nearly two years we have been training our little hearts to just keep patiently waiting. The fact that the waiting is almost over just doesn't seem real.
And to make today even better, we received passport photos for our hearts to dote upon until we see her sweet little face in person.
